|---|---|
| 1 | [re late start in movies] I don’t know that I would have been a Hollywood ingénue. But the roles that are available as a 30-something-year-old woman are so much more interesting. And this all kind of happened when I already had found my husband, our family was on its way – I found out that I got World War Z (2013) while at Babies “R” Us getting diapers. |
| 2 | Big Love (2006) is not about mainstream Mormon culture; it was about a very specific splinter group, so it actually felt completely disconnected from my life [playing JoDean Marquart]. I approached it like I would approach any kind of religious culture that I know nothing about. But you know, my mom had to laugh, she was like, “Of all the shows, that’s the one that you had to get a part on?” |
| 3 | [re dealing with zombies in World War Z (2013) ] Pretty much they’re scary dudes in crazy makeup chasing me, so I just run. My character doesn’t know what they are either. |
