Who Is Mike Perdue? Daughter Laney Perdue Is The Sole Survivor Of Gaylord Realtor Plane Crash

Mike Perdue is a Gaylord realtor who is reported to be dead in a plane crash. Here is what happened. 

Reports about the Beaver Island plane crash are circulating on social media. The family and friends are mourning the death of people who lost their lives.  The only survivor of the crash is Mike Perdue’s daughter who is receiving treatment at the hospital.

Who Is Mike Perdue?

Mike Perdue is a realtor from Gaylord, Michigan. He has sadly passed away after the small commuter plane he was boarded on crashed on Beaver Island. 

There were four passengers and a pilot on the flight. The passengers were Mike Perdue, Laney Perdue, and new-to-the-island Kate Leese and Adam Kendall. 

Reports said that Leese and Kendall were new residents of Beaver Island and were planning to plant a vineyard there. News sources shared that the pilot and three other passengers died on the Island Airways 1:30 p.m. flight on Saturday, Nov. 13.

All were killed in the crash, including two dogs, with the exception of Perdue’s 11-year-old child, who was severely injured and airlifted to McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

The crash is said to be the first one in the area based on historical data. The cause of the crash is under investigation by FAA and National Transportation Safety Board.

Mike Perdue Daughter Laney Perdue Lone Survivor Of Plane Crash

Laney Perdue is the daughter of Mike Perdue and Christina Perdue. She is the only survivor of the plane crash in Beaver Island on November 13. 

When Coast Guard helicopter 6008 received the emergency transmission from Beaver Island, it was in the middle of a training mission.

The coast guard helicopter airlifted two survivors, an adult male, and a female child. They were taken to McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. 

However, the adult male was pronounced dead at the hospital. However, Coast Guard Great Lakes shared in the tweet that they performed chest compression on the child when carrying her to the hospital. 

She is stable and receiving care at a children’s hospital in Grand Rapids.

Gaylord realtor, Mike Perdue has passed away in a plane crash. His wife, Christina, is at the hospital looking after their daughter. 

She is heartbroken and said that her partner gave her the best bear hugs. She added that she believes that he might have grabbed their daughter and protected her. She also said that it was her daughter’s last memory before the crash.
