Who Is Michelle Lodzinski From Florida And Where Is She Today?

Michelle Lodzinski is the mother who was convicted of murdering her 5-year-old son,  Timothy Wiltsey.

Michelle Lodzinski is best known as the mother of a 5-year-old kid who was murdered.

Timothy William “Timmy” Wiltsey was a 5-year-old kid from South Amboy, New Jersey, who went missing from a carnival in neighboring Sayreville on May 25, 1991, according to his mother, Michelle Lodzinski.

Wiltsey was not found when police searched the area where the festival was placed. His bones were recovered across the Raritan River in the marshlands of adjacent Edison, near an office park where Lodzinski had previously worked, about 11 months later.

Michelle Lodzinski’s biography has yet to be included in Wikipedia’s official source, unlike that of her son Timothy William “Timmy” Wiltsey.

However, some information about Michelle may be found on Timmy’s wiki page.

Moreover, Michelle Lodzinski of Laurence Harbor, New Jersey, met George Wiltsey when she was 16 years old and the two started dating shortly after.

Lodzinski returned to her home with her young boy six months after giving birth since his father had become aggressive. Wiltsey was frequently watched by Lodzinski’s friends, relatives, or professional sitters. She later staged the disappearance of her own kid, who was later discovered dead.

The case of Lodzinski was considered by the New Jersey Supreme Court in 2021.

The remaining justices were tied after Chief Justice Stuart Rabner recused himself, leaving her most recent appeal, which affirmed her conviction, in place.

The Court was convinced to adopt a seldom-used regulation that allows a rehearing with a different judge who is temporarily designated as a justice to hear the case in order to make a decision.

A thin majority of the court annulled her conviction at the end of the year, ruling that the evidence was inadequate for a reasonable jury to convict her.

Michelle Lodzinski Son: Timothy Wiltsey Murder

Within a month of her son’s abduction, she changed her story about how he went missing, and with her unemotional manner on the few occasions she talked publicly about the case, she became a suspect.

Later in the decade, she was convicted of fabricating her own kidnapping and then stealing a laptop from a previous employer, reinforcing the public’s opinion of her.

Prosecutors did not charge her until the 2010s, by which time she had remarried, given birth to two more children, and relocated to Florida, where she was caught in 2014.

Wiltsey’s bones were discovered so deteriorated that the cause of death could not be identified, and no one other than Lodzinski had seen him in a long time, making it difficult to link her to any wrongdoing or pinpoint when and how it occurred.
