No details have been divulged about Melissa’s biological father but she has already reconnected with her biological mother.
In 1977, Melissa’s mother underwent the brutal child abortion stage in her life.
She was just 19 years old at that time and Melissa’s grandmother, a local nurse persuaded her abortionist friend to help with the process.

Melissa’s young mother then underwent a five days long toxic isotonic solution method to kill her unborn baby, against her own will.
She was forced by circumstances and Melissa’s grandmother into doing it.
After the process, Melissa was thrown into the hospital waste, born 8 months old.
A nurse however noticed that she was still moving and showing slight signs of life and weak cries and thus decided to help her.
After long ICU care, Melissa survived, that too against all odds.
Doctors had then suggested that she would have some sort of defects that may be related to the heart or even lost eyesight but it was never the case, she was raised healthy and adopted soon, without the actual knowledge of her biological mother.

Her half-sister told her that “At least my biological parents wanted me”.
This led to a confounding state and Melissa took it to her adoptive parents, who let her know the truth.
Her grave sadness led her to harm herself, degrade her mental health and even cope with unhealthy alcoholism.
