Howell was shot in the head in front of his driveway by Julius Jones and Christopher Jordan. The two were there to rob but instead ended up shooting Paul in front of his sister and two children.
Jordan pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and agreed to testify against Julius Jones. He served thirty years and was released in 2014. Jones has been denying the charges and is now scheduled to receive a lethal injection on Thursday.
The family felt overlooked as celebrities took on social media for their support to Julius Jones. The fact that no one reached to reach out to Howell’s family bothered them and want those influencers to think about the victim’s family as well.
