The case was reinvestigated and two key pieces of evidence were found including a phone call of the alleged assault and also the statement of the victim, which was offered to the Mavericks by the victim’s lawyer.

These pieces of evidence were offered but not accepted by the Mavericks. Mark Cuban apologized following the report. He fired Tony and donated $10 million to women’s organizations after the NBA investigation.
