According to sources, it is estimated that the total of Mark Salling’s net worth, as of early 2018, would revolve around the sum of $100,000, acquired through his acting career that was active between 1996 and 2015.

Mark Salling Net Worth $100,000

Mark was the younger child of school secretary, Condy Sue, and John Robert Salling Jr. who was an accountant; apart from American, he is also of German and English descent, and was raised in a Christian manner. Mark went to Providence Christian School and Our Redeemer Lutheran before enrolling to Lake Highlands High School, from which he matriculated in 2001. Although attending Culver Military Academy, Mark never graduated, however, he later enrolled at the the Los Angeles Music Academy College of Music where he studied guitar.

Mark’s acting career began in 1996 when he appeared in the horror video “Children of the Corn: The Gathering”. In 1999 he made his small screen debut in an episode of the eighth season of the “Walker, Texas Ranger” TV series, featuring Chuck Norris in the title role. These involvements provided the modest basis for Mark Salling’s net worth.

After a several year-long break, Mark returned to acting in 2006. and appeared in critically panned horror video “The Graveyard”. The real breakthrough in his acting career occurred in 2009 when he was cast for the recurring role of Noah ‘Puck’ Puckerman in FOX TV’s musical comedy drama series “Glee”, which follows the adventures of the fictional William McKinley High School’s show choir – the Glee club, appearing in a total of 96 episodes through the show’s six seasons between 2009 and 2015. For his entire performance, he was rewarded with a 2010 Screen Actors Guild Award, and with three consecutive nominations between 2011 and 2013. Concurrently, Mark also appeared in the leading role of the “Rocky Road” TV movie, starring as Harrison Burke. It is certain that the whole “Glee” venture provided the major part of Mark Salling’s net worth, which at one point of his career, peaked at over $3 million.

Additionally, speaking about his music career, in 2008 under the alias Jericho, Mark released his debut studio album, entitled “Smoke Signals”, featuring 11 songs all composed by Mark himself over the course of eight years. Two years later his second release followed, the album named “Pipe Dreams” which peaked at No. 5 of the US Top Heatseekers chart. Several songs from the “Glee” soundtrack were also composed and performed by Mark, including “Good Vibrations”, “Sweet Caroline” and “Only the Good Due Young” among a few others. Doubtlessly, all these achievements made an impact on Mark Salling’s net worth.

When it comes to the personal life of Mark Salling, between 2007 and 2010 he was in a relationship with  fellow colleague Naya Rivera, while between 2010 and 2011 he dated model and Playboy bunny, DJ Roxanne Dawn (Roxanne Gorzela) – in 2013 she accused him of sexual battery, and in 2015 Mark was obligated to pay her around $2.7 million to settle the charges. This was not the end of Salling’s legal issues – later that year he was imprisoned for the possession of child pornography, to which he pleaded guilty, and was released on a $20,000, but committed suicide at the age of 35, by hanging himself on the 30th January 2018, close to his home in Los Angeles, California.

Quote
1 You don’t really have time to watch TV if you work on TV.
2 I’ve been playing piano since I was 5, and started writing when I was 6 or 7. It was never a revelation I had, it was just what I did. Playing music was always a part of my life, I don’t know anything else.
3 [on his hairstyle for Glee] I had knee surgery about four months before the audition, and I cut my hair in a mohawk. I don’t know why, but I did. So I decided to do it again for this audition because of this part; maybe it would make me stand out from the rest of the guys. Lo and behold, it worked out. And now I’m stuck with it.
4 [on his most memorable moment filming Glee] I can think of two moments. One moment would be shooting a scene with Kristen Chenowith where she is singing. I was sitting right in front of her and she was just belting it out. She can let loose like no other! She’s singing a song and it was pretty much directly to me. I was sitting right in front of her and she was singing it to the group of people I was in. It was one of those moments where I thought, “Wow! How did I end up here?” She is so beautiful and talented.
