Their love story is supposedly a beautiful one of loyalty and respect. Nicole played a big role in making Luke the star he is, so let’s take a look at who this blonde lady really is.
Early life and family
Nicole was born on 22 July 1992, in Fort Myers, Florida, USA – her mother’s name is Marcy Hocking, and although the name of her father is unknown, it’s believed that Nicole has a good relationship with him, and is close to her dad. She has a sibling, Jenna Hocking.
Educational background
After finishing her education at a private school in Florida, she attended the Florida Gulf Coast University graduating with a bachelor’s degree – she first studied civil engineering but fate had other plans for her future. During her time there, Nicole was part of the Kappa Delta Sorority. Her sister attended the same university, and graduated with a degree in hospitality management.
After she graduated, Nicole moved to Nashville, Tennessee in search of work.
Career and Influence on Luke’s Career
At first, Nicole worked at a local bar, but later joined the Nashville staff of Broadcast Music Inc – BMI, where she encountered many international stars such as Post Malone and Jimmy Buffet. Nicole soon grew her career into something to be proud of. She made a name for herself and also became a social media personality with a large following and thousands of fans.
It was at BMI that Nicole met Luke, who was still just an unknown and aspiring musician back then.
Nicole worked on helping Luke to find his place in the music world, and introduced him to successful stars who were managed by BMI. While he was signed under River House, he also worked with BMI songwriters, and it was with writers Jordan Walker and Ray Fulcher that Luke co-wrote his triple-platinum single, ‘Hurricane’.

However, her favourite food is turkey sandwiches from Subway, but Luke makes deer spaghetti that we assume she enjoys as well.
The couple loves to relax in front of the television together, and they often watch murder documentaries as well as shows such as ‘Rick and Morty’ and ‘The Office’.
Relationship with Luke
Luke and Nicole met through mutual friends, and apparently she knew right away that she wanted to spend her life with him. She loved the way he treats those around him and her. He wrote the song ‘Beautiful Crazy’ for Nicole, even before they officially started dating. That, of course, scored major brownie points for the singer. In 2016, they became an official couple.
After helping him reach such a great height in his career, Nicole has been proudly standing by Luke’s side, and they plan to marry in 2020.
