Lion Air Captain Bhavye Suneja was the husband of Garima Sethi for 27 months. He died in a plane crash which took the lives of 189 people.
Bhavye Suneja, 31, was a pilot for the Lion Air Flight 610 on October 29, 2018.
The plane which crashed near Jakarta took the lives of everyone who were on board and the aircraft was revealed to have experienced mechanical issues on the previous flight.
Suneja’s wife Garima Sethi, 33, who did not sue the airlines, had pressurized the authorities and the company to ground the model.

Sethi, who had tied the knot with Suneja, a methodical pilot, met her future husband through a matrimonial website in the mid-2010s.
The couple met in person on a coffee date when the pilot had returned home from Jakarta and soon, the couple was ready to share their vows as husband and wife.
Upon their parent’s approval, Bhavye Suneja wedded Garima Sethi in a lavish Indian marriage ceremony in July 2016.
Little did the couple know that they would be separated only over 2 years after their marriage in 2018. Sethi lost her husband in an airplane crash on October 29, 2018.
