Lee Buyer got arrested on Thursday, 18 August 2022 at a house on Allenby Road, Southhall, west London at 1:30 am.
An old man named Thomas O’Halloran got stabbed to death on 16 August, at about 4 pm. It was sad how an old man got killed, and it is a matter of surprise that the culprit benefitted from the killing of such an elderly person. He was in his mobility scooter.
One of Thomas’s friends mentioned that he was on his way to busk. After the incident during the investigation police found the CCTV footage of a man carrying a knife and fleeing the crime scene. They circulated his picture and asked the public if anyone has any information regarding the murder.

Lee Buyer, 44, got arrested after two days of committing the crime. He stabbed 87 years old Thomas O’Holloran to death. Armed police were able to get hold of him at a house on Allenby Road on Thursday.
Investigators prepared sketches of Buyer to circulate. One of the residents Naqib Yahya said, ‘What it takes someone to stab to have extra patrols.” Thomas regularly played music and get involved in social causes. Recently he raised the fund for the Ukrainian community present in London.
One of the residents, Frasley Coutinho, who lived opposite of crime scene said he saw the victim surrounded by a group of young boys. If Buyer was accompanied by another friend, they might also be the subject of investigation.
It is not known for what reason Buyer had to take his life. Thomas seemed to be a simple person who played his accordion in the station. Witness confined he usually plays his accordion outside the station for about two years.
Lee Buyer Associated With Thomas O’Halloran Death
When Thomas O’Halloran’s death was reported the investigators got the CCTV footage of Lee Buyer. They suspected him of a culprit as he was holding a knife. He was wearing grey shorts, dark-colored t-shirts with a white cap, and gloves.
The officers declared him a serious persona and asked for information if anyone knew where he was. Detective Chief Inspector Jim Eastwood, who was handling the case stated that anyone who locate him could give a call to 999.

Lee Buyer appeared in court today, Friday, 19th August, and was charged with the murder of 87 years old Thomas O’Halloran. This morning he was at Willesden magistrates’ court.
He gave his personal detail to the court like his name, and date of birth. He was remanded in custody ahead of his upcoming appearance at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.

Lee Buyer’s family members did not come forward to say anything about Lee’s arrest. The passersby mentioned that they saw Thomas O’Halloran begging for help before he got attacked.
Thomas had a daughter named Jeanne and a grandson, Tommy. He had a sister and two brothers. His granddaughter is named Cindy O’Neil, who is 37 years of age. She said that he was a loving person and his death made them shocked.
