Laurie Tagaloa was a young 24-year-old man who met his untimely demise after an unsuspecting knife attack in Brisbane, Australia. The Australian man lost all consciousness after another young man stabbed him in the neck.
The fight took place at Brunswick Street Mall at four after what seemed like an ordinary dispute suddenly got out of hand. It looked like the suspect had no idea of the surveillance camera’s presence at the mall.
A young man suddenly took a knife out and stabbed Lauie in the neck, leaving him to bleed to death on the floor, running away right after stabbing him. The 24-year-old lost consciousness and fell after bleeding profusely.
Brunswick City Council has the security footage of the fight going down, with other multiple witnesses taking the video of the incident as it took place.
Officials have arrested a suspect named Seyram Kwami Djentuh based on the footage uncovered from the mall, along with help from the other two people present at the moment.
However, officials are being careful and taking their time to thoroughly investigate the events that took place that day with suspicion of being more involved in the incident.

With the stabbing taking the life of their beloved family member, Lauie Tagaloa’s family had to wait for his funeral and burial. After a few days of investigation, the victim’s family was allowed to take his body home for his funeral.
One of his family members, presumably his sister, posted an update for his friends and family regarding his funeral and burial. She informed everyone that they would be bringing Tagaloa home on July 17 and have a small funeral with his family only.
Laurie’s sister wrote, “We ask that you please respect our wishes as we have allocated Sunday and Monday just for our families to attend and spend quality time with him.”
Laurie’s sister also mentioned that his burial would occur on Friday, July 22, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 9 am.
They announced that anyone who wishes to visit and say their goodbyes can come to pay their respect to the deceased from Tuesday to Thursday at Strathpine Community Hall.
One of his friends, Jordyn Cooper, has started a GoFund Me for Lauie Michael Tagaloa’s family to help them with his funeral and burial costs.

Laurie Tagaloa was born to parents Tina Tagaloa and Charles Tagaloa in Brisbane and raised in a loving family of seven with four other siblings.
His mother worked at Anglicare Southern Queensland, graduated from McAuley High School, and studied at Tribhuvan University. His mother is severely heartbroken from the news of his demise as she cherishes her family.
She has shared pictures of her beautiful family of 5 kids and seven grandkids on her social media, thanking God for such a blessing.
His parents have not yet spoken about the incident since they are still in shock and grieving the loss of their beloved young child. However, his siblings are the ones who are holding the fort and taking care of his funeral and everything.
