Iyanna Mayweather, the 19-year-old daughter of boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr., was arrested after allegedly stabbing Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, according to statements from TMZ. A Houston Police Department source also confirmed that Iyanna was arrested. However, other details were not revealed since it’s an ongoing probe.
Iyanna Mayweather was caught on charges of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, sources told TMZ, after she allegedly drove to rapper NBA Youngboy‘s house in Houston, Texas around 1:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 4. Iyanna allegedly confronted a woman who was in the company of NBA, (later identified as Lapattra Lashai Jacobs) in the report. Here are 5 things to know about the legendary boxer’s daughter.
1. Iyanna allegedly told police she had never met miss Jacobs. The 19-year-old claimed she was rapper NBA Youngboy’s fiance and told Lapattra (NBA’s Ex-Fiance) to leave the house, before allegedly pushed her out, an altercation ensued and Iyanna charged towards her with two knives and stabbed her twice, TMZ reported. When talking to police following the incident, Iyanna told the authorities that she had never met the woman, and was aggravated when Lapattra pulled her hair before the alleged stabbing.
2. Iyanna is out on a bond of $30,000. HollywoodLife confirmed with a source at the Houston Police Department that Mayweather’s daughter was arrested and bonded for $30,000. It is not yet known whether she has been bailed out or not.
3. Youngboy and Lapattra have a child together. The ex-partners, who were both at his house in Texas when Iyanna pulled through, have a child together according to the TMZ report. Youngboy has four children in total; Kayden Gaulden, Taylin Gaulden, Kacey Alexander Gaulden, and Kamiri Gaulden.
4. Drake and Future performed at Iyanna’s Sweet 16. Back in 2016, her father threw a mega party for his daughter and had two of the biggest names in the rap scene perform, that was Drake and Future.
