Kimberly Noel Kardashian Wiki Biography

American television and social media personality, businesswoman, fashion designer and model Kimberly Noel Kardashian, was born on 21 October 1980, in Los Angeles, California, and will be familiar as the reality television phenomenon who has gone from a relative unknown to a global celebrity over the past few years, apparently for no outstanding reason other that by self-promotion. Initially known only because of a scandalous sex tape involving her and the singer Ray J, Kim  has managed to translate this into worldwide fame and recognition over the course of the wildly successful E! reality series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”. This has since allowed Kim to follow up with appearances in several other reality shows, launch her own lines of clothing and perfume, and star in various movies – all activities that are reflected in Kim Kardashian’s net worth.

So just how rich is Kim Kardashian, as of mid-2017? Authoritative sources estimated that Kim’s net worth is over $190 million, accumulated through her previously mentioned varied activities, mostly over the last 10 years, and is considered to be the highest-paid reality television star in the world. With her net worth, it is no surprise Kim Kardashian can afford to lead a lavish lifestyle – recently, she has been seen driving her new car, a Ferrari 458 Italia Spider valued at $325,000, and her Beverly Hills mansion is believed to be worth around $4.8 million.

Kim Kardashian Net Worth $190 Million

Kim Kardashian was the second of four children born to parents Kris (now remarried as Kris Jenner) and Robert Kardashian. Kim Kardashian’s father Robert became known in 1995 for his defense role in O. J. Simpson’s trial, but the future reality television star herself remained relatively low-key – Kim’s only claim to fame before 2007 was her marriage to music producer Damon Thomas, and her close friendship with actress, entertainer and socialite Paris Hilton. In February 2007, however, Kim Kardashian catapulted to first national and soon – worldwide recognition when a sex tape showing her together with the singer and songwriter Ray J was made public. Suing the responsible parties and then settling for $5 million in exchange for dropping the lawsuit, Kim Kardashian then managed to spin the controversy to her advantage by becoming the star of her family’s own reality TV show – “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”.

The series proved an enormous success – focusing primarily on Kim Kardashian and her two sisters – Kourtney  and Khloe Kardashian – the series would go on to produce several spin-offs also featuring Kim, including “Kourtney and Kim take Miami” in 2009, and “Kourtney and Kim take New York” in 2011. With a hefty salary of $80,000 per episode, reality television certainly gave Kim Kardashian’s net worth a huge boost, and she has since translated her wealth so acquired on television into a veritable business empire. Kardashian now runs a successful fragrance business, and she and her sisters have worked with the women’s clothier “bebe Stores, Inc.” to develop their own lines of clothing. Kim Kardashian has also appeared in several movies and television series, including a guest appearance in the hit CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother”, and a part in the 2009 romantic comedy “Deep in the Valley”, no doubt adding to her wealth.–

In her personal life, Kim Kardashian was married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004. In 2011 she married basketballer Kris Humphries in what was widely regarded as a publicity stunt, as she filed for divorce just 78 days later. Today, Kim Kardashian lives together with her husband, American rapper Kanye West, who she married in May 2014 in a lavish ceremony, when Kim was seen wearing jewellery worth over $10 million. They now have two daughters together.
