Kezza Griffa is a French point guard currently playing basketball for the University of Texas at El Paso in the NCAA.

Kezza Giffa, a freshman guard for the UTEP men’s basketball team, is originally French. He came from Paris, France, to play for the Miners.

 

UTEP’s coach, Coach Golding, discovered him through a mutual friend in France. He watched some of Kezza’s reel and instantly liked the boy.

After being recruited by UTEP, he said, “I was a top-five scorer in the French U21 league. I think he saw my highlights and loved the way that I played, “he said. 

His now-new coach, Coach Golding, said, “He got here late (due to COVID protocols). He’s getting tougher and tougher, and I’m proud of where he’s going. He’s coachable.”

 

In the under-21 leagues in France, he averaged 17.8 points per match and earned a place on the French national under-19 basketball team. 

He previously played for Levallois Metropolitans 92. Kezza averaged 231 points in 13 games with Levallois Metropolitans U21 during France’s 2020-21 season. 

Kezza scored a season-high 26 points, which also included a 3-of-5 effort from beyond the arc, and registered five assists and five rebounds against Roanne U21. 

Kezza Giffa Age And Height 

Kezza Giffa is 19 years old. He was born in the new year of 2002. 

 

He has had a basketball in his hands for most of his life. 

While he is playing on the court, Giffa has a good height advantage. The French star is exactly 6 feet tall. 

Kezza Giffa Parents: Who Are His Parents? 

Kezza’s father, Sacha Griffa, was a former basketball player and played professionally in the Euro League. He has played actively for almost two decades. 

For Kezza, his father is the most significant source of inspiration. 

Sacha was a teammate of former San Antonio Spurs all-star Tony Parker. They played together for the French National Team. 

 

In 2017, he served on the New York Knicks summer league staff. Sacha is an assistant coach at Levallois Metropolitans 92, where his son also played. 

Kezza once said, “It wasn’t until I was 6 or 7 that I started to figure out that my dad was somebody famous.” He further added, “He became somebody I look up to. He’s a role model for me.”
