39-year-old police officer Keona Holley is currently on life support after getting shot during overtime.
The civilians of the city of Baltimore has been uneasy since 2015. As its protectors got arrested in corruption cases, the city has been uproar.
More than a dozen officers went to behind bars because of money laundering scandals.
Not only that, but the city also has a record number of homicides, with killing happening inside churches.
Although becoming one of the notorious members of society was not part of the plan for Keona Holley, she wanted to change the mindset of people.

Who Is Keona Holley? Baltimore Police Officer Shot
Keona Holley worked as a well-to-do nurse who left her job to become a police officer. She joined the police academy two years ago to change her community.
She had to work at Clifton T Perkings Hospital Center as a nursing assistant when she realized that was not what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
When asked why she wanted to change her life so drastically, she replied that she wanted to do more for her people.
A positive change in the lives of the people around her was her end goal.

How Old Is Keona Holley? Is She Dead?
Keona Holley was 39 years old when she got hit by a bullet. Her alleged perpetrator is Michael Harrison.
Although the officer is not dead, her doctor reported that her injures are life-threatening. She is still on life support since then.
The report says she was volunteering at an area having a bloody past.

Allegedly someone came up to her police car and fired. The offer was working overtime at Curtis Bay neighborhood.
The state has announced a reward of around a hundred thousand dollars, which will bring information to the case.

She is the mother of a young child whose identity is not exposed.

Talking about family, her sister Lawanda spoke to the media about her saying, she knew what she was doing. She loved her job and dreaming about it since she was a kid.
In a fit of anger, she challenged the assailant to reveal himself to the public, calling home a coward.
Moreover, her friends from Edmondson High school and nursing institute came over to visit her.
