According to police, around 6:30 p.m., Matthews abruptly parked his gray sedan in the middle of the street in a quiet neighborhood in Slidell. Then he got out and started shooting at a white van that was behind him. The footage shows the truck speeding past Matthews and turning left. Matthews then goes back to his car and turns right. Police say the truck was hit multiple times, but no one was injured. Some bullets also hit one of the houses, but again it was reported that no one was injured.
The shooting was reportedly due to an incident that occurred near Highway 11 and Brownswitch Road.
