Karen McDougal is a former playmate scene after details of her affair with US President Donald Trump came to light. The rumors of their relationship when the President was married were of interest to the American news media at the time of his campaign. McDougal was prevented from telling her story for a variety of reasons, but now that she’s found freedom of speech, we can learn a lot about her life and the precise nature of her relationship with President Donald Trump.
Who is Karen McDougal?
Karen McDougal was born on March 23, 1971 in Merryville, Indiana. She descends from a mix of Cherokee, Irish and Scots. Her parents were blessed with three boys named Bob, Dave and Jeff before the arrival of Karen McDougal as their first daughter. She also has a younger sister named Tina. When Karen McDougal was only nine years old, her mother, who had been separated from her father for some time, remarried and moved the family from Merryville to Sawyer, Michigan.
In Michigan, Karen continued her education to the college level. Her high school was River Valley High School, and while there she engaged in a variety of activities including cheerleading and sports like volleyball and softball. She was also a Michigan State band member, color guard, and clarinet player for four consecutive years.
Karen’s ultimate dream at that young age was to become a famous ballerina, but as she got older the dream turned into a desire to be a teacher and model. She attended college at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, where she majored in elementary education. After only two years in college, Karen McDougal moved to Detroit and began teaching preschoolers. While there she was convinced to try out for a swimsuit competition and in 1997 she tried on and won the local Venus Swimwear swimsuit competition.
The win caught the attention of a playboy photographer named David Mecey and she was soon approached for a test shot, which she accepted. It was the prelude to her Miss December 1997 pageant and in May 1998 she was voted Playmate of the Year (PMOY) by Hugh Hefner and some fans. She received $100,000 and a special edition silver Shelby Series 1 convertible with a custom Michigan license plate “PMOY 98” after the win. Karen McDougal has since expanded her career into fitness modeling and has appeared in parts on a few TV shows.
How was your relationship with Donald Trump?
In November 2016, reports surfaced that KarenMcDougal had been having an affair with then-presidential candidate Donald Trump. The Wall Street Journal wrote in its own report that she had told a friend about the affair and that Donald Trump was married at the time of the affair. The affair is said to have lasted about ten months to a year.
It was also revealed during this time that American Media, Inc. (AMI), the owner of the National Enquirer, paid Karen $150,000 to get the exclusive rights to her story. Despite acquiring the rights, AMI never actually published the story, but the media house claimed that they had no intention of killing the story by buying the rights, but settled for the rights to the Trump infidelity story, its value two years was her fitness columns and magazine covers.
The story of Karen McDougal and Donald Trump’s relationship was published by The Wall Street Journal just four days before the 2016 US Presidential Election. The Trump campaign denied the existence of the affair. In memoirs written by Karen McDougal about their affair, she revealed that the two met at a party hosted by Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion. The President had kept in touch with her and the two ended their first date with sex. McDougal met members of Trump’s family and was even promised an apartment in New York. The memoir also said that McDougal reimbursed her travel and accommodation expenses every time she flew to see Trump.
Their relationship apparently ended in April 2007. When McDougal called, she gave up because she felt guilty and was also offended by some of the comments Trump made. All of this information about their relationship continues to leak out, as in March 2018, Karen McDougal sued American Media Inc. in Los Angeles Superior Court, seeking to void the nondisclosure agreement created by the purchase of the exclusive rights to your history. AMI settled down with McDougal and gave her the freedom to speak out about the alleged affair.
