This had a major influence on her, and her later born sister Portia’s career path as they both joined the entertainment industry and eventually became actresses. The sister’s are currently both members of the Screen Actors Guild and their mother is a theater playwright and a producer. This favorable family background led to Kaitlin’s debut role in 2002 when she appeared in an episode of “Without a Trace”, a CBS TV drama series. However, her true breakthrough happened the same year when she was cast as Joanna in the Oscar nominated movie “Catch Me If You Can” appearing side-by-side with Leonardo DiCaprio. In year 2007 she was cast in the lead female role in “Cavemen”, an ABC American sitcom which unfortunately aired for only one month, having received negative reviews.
