The police have identified a suspect in the shooting of El Monte. As per the reports, Justin William Flores was the person who opened fire on two police officers after they entered a motel room.
According to sources, the officers were ambushed, leading to a gunfight in the motel. They were heavily injured and were rushed to a nearby hospital. They were pronounced dead at the hospital.

Justin William Flores has been identified as the suspect who opened fire in an El Monte motel three days ago.
Moreover, it was the suspect’s mother who identified him. She was reportedly at the victims’ memorial where she shared the information about Flores.
According to his mother, Justin had a history of domestic violence. He had also been arrested and spent some time in a prison cell. But his mother didn’t know why her son would go and shoot the officers.
Along with the officers, Flores was also pronounced dead following the ambush.

Justin William Flores opened fire at the Siesta Inn in El Monte on Tuesday.
Even though the family has identified the shooter, his age has not been revealed yet. Authorities said the two officers were ambushed by gunfire from inside a motel room as soon as they arrived at the Siesta Inn around 5:10 p.m.
Following that, the shooter came outside of the motel and exchanged gunfire with the officers. They were pronounced dead at the local hospital they were taken to.
Moreover, the officers were married and had children. One of them was 22 years veteran and the other had just joined a year ago. May their souls rest in paradise.
