Juan Miguel Echevarria set his personal Long Jump Record back in 2018. He is expecting to break his record soon. Learn what we know bout him.
Juan Miguel Echevarria Laflé is a Cuban athlete who specializes in long jumping.
He competed for his country in the 2017 World Championships but fell just short of the final.
What Is Juan Miguel Echevarria Long Jump Record?
Juan Miguel has his long jump record set at 8.68 m.
His personal bests in the event are 8.68 meters outdoors in Bad Langensalza in 2018 with a wind of +1.7 meters per second and 8.46 meters indoors in Birmingham in 2018.
On March 10, 2019, he leaped 8.92 m in Havana, helped by a +3.3 m/s wind, breaking the Cuban national record of 8.71 m.
While this leap was ineligible for the Cuban record because of the considerable wind aid, it was remarkable for being the longest jump in competition in over 24 years and the sixth-longest jump in history.

Juan Miguel Echevarria Age Height & Weight Explored
Juan Miguel Echevarria was born on August 11, 1998, and turned 23 years of age last year.
He stands at the height of 1.86 m (6 ft 1 in); meanwhile, his weight isn’t exactly known. We guess him to be around 70 -80 kg.
His Body Mass Index (BMI) is 24.5, which is normal for him. Furthermore, his thin and tall frame makes it simple for him to compete in Long Jump events.

Juan is said to have disliked regular training, but his parents encouraged him to work hard and improve. The financial crisis has to have been a driving element as well.
