Joseph Nee, 35, has been arrested from Liverpool in connection to Olivia Pratt Korbel’s shooting, but he is not suspected to be the shooter of Olivia but instead was the intended target of the gunman.
Liverpool residents woke up to gruesome news on Tuesday, as a 9-year-old girl Olivia Pratt Korbel died on Monday, August 22, after she was shot in her chest. The heartbreaking news is that Olivia was not even the intended target of the gunman.
Olivia was shot to her chest when a man named Joshep Nee ran into her home to evade a gunman chasing him, Olivia’s mother Cheryl Korbel was trying to close the door on the gunman when Olivia was standing behind the door. The gunman shot his gun which injured Cheryl in her wrist and another bullet hit Olivia in her chest.
The 9-year-old was taken to the hospital but she could not survive as she might have sustained injuries to her vital organs.

Joseph Nee, 35, from Liverpool, has been arrested following Olivia’s death.

Merseyside Police linked Nee to a number of crimes in Cheshire, leading investigators on a 125mph pursuit with two other males. According to ITV, Nee had known ties to organized crime, and the probation department classified him as having a medium risk of offending.
Joseph has been apprehended, from the hospital where he was receiving treatment for gunshot wounds, for violating his license and he will be put behind bars.

In fact, Nee, a career criminal, has spent over a decade inside prison and might not have a wife to root for him.
Joseph spent 45 months behind bars for burglary and speeding from 2018 to 2021, but it was not his first time behind bars.
According to Daily Mail, the career criminal was placed behind the bar back in 2009 for acting as a ‘trusted foot soldier’ for a major drug ring operating in the UK. This time he was sent away for six and half years.
