Joe Frazier Net Worth $100 Thousand

Joseph William Frazier was born on January 12, 1944 in Beaufort, South Carolina and died on November 7, 2011 at the age of 67 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.

Being 1.85m height Joe was rated at heavyweight class. Joe Frazier rose to prominence at the end of 1960s when he won fights against such boxers as Jimmy Ellis, George Chuvalo, Doug Jones, Eddie Machen, Buster Mathis, Oscar Bonavena and Jerry Quarry. During his career in the ring, Joe Frazier won 32 victories (27 – by knockout), had four defeats and one draw. With such outstanding results, Frazier undoubtedly increased his net worth and wealth. He became famous for his battles with another boxing legend Muhammad Ali, the opponent he defeated only once. Their fights were very popular among boxing lovers.

Joe Frazier became world heavyweight champion in 1970, the title he won after knocking down the boxer, Jimmy Ellis. This victory undoubtedly added much to the overall amount of Joe Frazier’s net worth. On March 8, 1971, in a fifteen rounds duel in New York’s Madison Square Garden, Joe Frazier won the fight against the legendary Muhammad Ali, who was defeated for the first time in the professional ring. At that time, the net worth of Joe had jumped up sharply. In 1973, Joe Frazier lost the world heavyweight championship after losing to George Foreman. The second duel with Muhammad Ali he lost on January 28, 1974 in New York, and the third unsuccessful fight ended with a technical knockout at the beginning of 1975, in the Philippine capital of Manila, when his trainer prevented him continuing the fight in the 15th round: this fight became known as ‘the thriller in Manilla’.

In 1976 Frazier ended his professional career. However, in 1981 Frazier tried to return to the ring and increase his net worth. In 1990 he was admitted into the Boxing Hall of Fame which made Joe Frazier’s net worth rise even more, despite being outside the boxing arena. In 1996, he released the autobiographical book titled ‘Smokin’ Joe: The Autobiography of a Heavyweight Champion of the World, Smokin’ Joe Frazier’.

When he retired from boxing Joe appeared in a few Hollywood films. He died from liver cancer in November 2011.

Joe Frazier had been married to Florence Smith, who after their marriage became Florence Frazier. Together they had three children Marvis Frazier, Jackie Frazier-Lyde and Joe Frazier Jr. Jackie Frazier-Lyde is also a professional boxer.

Quote
1 The way I fight, it’s not me beatin’ the man. I make the man whip himself.
2 [on acquiring his nickname, ‘Smokin’ Joe’ from his trainer] He used to say in the dressing-room, before sending me out to fight, “Go out there, goddammit, and make smoke come from those gloves.”
3 Ali always said I would be nothing without him. But what would he have been without me?
4 [on the origin of his famously destructive left hook] When I was a boy, I used to pull a big cross saw with my dad. He’d use his right hand, so I’d have to use my left.
5 [on his major victory over Muhammad Ali in 1971] He said if I whipped him that night he would get on his knees, crawl across the ring and say ‘You are the greatest”. But he didn’t do that. I think he was trying to get to the hospital.

Nick Lachey Net Worth and Salary: Nick Lachey is an American singer, actor, songwriter, television personality, and host who has a net worth of $25 million. That is a combined net worth with his wife, model/actress Vanessa Minnillo. Nick rose to fame in the late 1990s as a member of the boy band 98 Degrees, and has since branched out into a variety of other pursuits. Early Life: Nicholas “Nick” Scott Lachey was born in Harlan, Kentucky, on November 9, 1973, to Cathalyn and John Lackey. His brother is fellow singer and actor Drew Lachey. He attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio, before pursuing further education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He then enrolled at the University of Southern California in the fall of 1992. Music Career: Lachey began his singing career in the mid-1990s, when he began singing at Kings Island with his friend Justin Jeffre. He and Jeffre then joined forces with his brother Drew, and fourth member Jeff Timmons, to form the boy band 98 Degrees. They were discovered by music manager Paris D’Jon, and they signed to Motown Records. Together, 98 Degrees released the albums “98 Degrees” (1997), “98 Degrees and Rising” (1998), “This Christmas” (1999), “Revelation” (2000), “2.0” (2013), and “Let It Snow” (2017). The group went on an extended hiatus from 2003 to 2012. Lachey’s solo debut album, “SoulO” (2003), was a commercial failure. His second album “What’s Left of Me” (2006) was much better received, and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. After selling more than 500,00 copies in the US, it was certified Gold by the RIAA. He left Jive Records in June 2010. He subsequently released his third album, “A Father’s Lullaby” (2013), followed by “Soundtrack of My Life” (2014), an album consisting of Lachey’s cover versions of songs that were featured on various movie soundtracks. Television Career: In the summer of 2003, Lachey starred with his wife at the time, Jessica Simpson, in the MTV reality show “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica”. It aired for three seasons, with a total of 41 episodes, before wrapping in March 2005. The show featured Lachey’s song “This I Swear” as the opening theme. The couple also starred in the television special “The Nick and Jessica Variety Hour” in 2004. Lachey featured in the seventh season of The WB drama “Charmed”, in the role of Leslie St. Clair. He also appeared in the popular series “One Tree Hill” as a singer at Red Bedroom Productions. Lachey ventured back into the world of reality television in 2009, as the producer of the MTV musical reality show “Taking the Stage”, which documented the lives of high school students at the School for Creative and Performing Arts. Then, he hosted the NBC singing competition show “The Sing-Off” for seasons one to three, from 2009 to 2011. Other shows he has hosted in “Big Morning Buzz Live” on VH1, the Nickelodeon show “America’s Most Musical Family”, and the Netflix reality show “Love is Blind” along with his wife Vanessa. Additionally, he was a contestant on the NBC celebrity reality competition series “Stars Earn Stripes” in 2012, and competed on the 25th season of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2017. Other Ventures:  In addition to his work in music and television, Lachey is known as an avid sports fan. He’s part owner of an American Basketball Association team, the Hollywood Fame, and has also been part of an ownership group of the Tacoma Rainiers. His association with the world of sports continued in 2009 when he threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the MLB Opening Day game in Cincinnati, Ohio, and in 2011 when the singer sang the National Anthem at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky. Lachey was also among a group of cannabis investors that placed a marijuana legalization initiative on the Ohio ballot in 2015. He even appeared in a television ad that advocated in support of the initiative, but it was ultimately not passed. Personal Life: A young Lachey was introduced to pop singer Jessica Simpson by their shared manager at a Christmas event in December 1998. They began dating in January 1999, got engaged in February 2002, and married on October 26, 2002, in Austin, Texas. After months of speculation in various tabloids, the couple announced their separation in November 2005, and finalized their divorced in June 2006. Because Simpson had not signed a pre-nuptial agreement, she reportedly had to pay Lachey $12 million in their divorce. Ironically, before the marriage Nick had asked Jessica to sign a pre-nup. She angrily refused. Lachey then began dating Vanessa Minnillo in 2006, after she starred in his “What’s Left of Me” music video. After a brief break-up in 2009 that only lasted a few months, the couple became engaged in November 2010. They married in 2011, and they three children together. Real Estate: In 2016 Nick and Vanessa paid $4.15 million for a 7-bedroom home in Encino, California. A month earlier he sold his longtime previous home for just under $4 million. They listed their Encino home in October 2019 for $7 million. They home was previously owned by the late Mexican singer Jenni Rivera.
