Who is Jessica Young?
Jessica Jung was born in San Francisco on18. April 1989. She and her only sister practically grew up in San Francisco as children. When Jessica was just 11 years old, she and her sister were spotted in a Korean mall by a member of a “South Korean entertainment agency” called SM Entertainment, earlier when the girls were on vacation in South Korea.
In 2000, after consultation with her parents, Jessica was then signed to the company, SM Entertainment formerly while her sister, Krystal, was later signed to be a member of the Korean girl group, F(x) . For this new contract, Jessica had to relocate to South Korea, which she did. When she got there, she was enrolled in the Korea Kent Foreign School during her teenage years. In 2010, Jessica Jung tested her acting skills when she was cast in the role of Elle Woods, the Korean version of Legally Blonde . Two years later she appeared in the drama, Wild Romance . Always entrepreneurial, in 2014 she decided to start a fashion brand which she named Blanc & Eclare. On June 3, 2014, Jessica and her sister Krystal premiered their 10-episode reality television show they titled Jessica and Krystal.
That year she also left the group, Girl’s Generation. This was mainly due to the conflict between their own business activities and the group’s schedule. She was asked to leave the group and in 2016 signed a solo career with Coridel Entertainment.
