To the public, Jeff Tremaine is perhaps best known as one of the creators of the popular reality series called “Jackass”, which first aired on the MTV network in 2001. With the focus on performing dangerous stunts and pranks, “Jackass” rose to fame immediately upon its release, and was even featured on the list of “New TV Classics”, compiled by “Entertainment Weekly” magazine. The main cast of the group included Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Chris Pontius, Steve-O, Ehren McGhehey, Jason Acuna, Preston Lacy, and Dave England. Over the years, “Jackass” grew to be one of the most popular series on the network, and as a result influenced the release of such spin-off series as “Viva la Bam” with Bam Margera, “Dr. Steve-O”, “Homewrecker” and “Wilbdoyz”.
