Jed Hall was a missing 16-year-old teen from Idaho who suddenly disappeared in 2018 and was found in 2022.
Full named Matthew Jedediah “Jed” Hall, he walked out of his house in Idaho Falls on the morning of January 22. As learned, he got into his car and hasn’t been seen by his family members ever since.
As per the reports, he was driving a silver 2009 Nissan Versa hatchback with Idaho license plate 8B EF732.
Jed Hall’s familiar ones describe the 16-year-old boy as the perfect kid and a straight-A student who helped tutor other kids at school. Likewise, he loved participating in the Idaho Wing Civil Air Patrol and was working his way through the ranks.
He left with a cell phone, a small duffle bag, and a firearm but was not carrying bank or credit cards. As per the Idaho Falls Police Spokeswoman Holly, the investigators tried to ping his mobile every 15 minutes since he vanished, but there had been no responses by the other party.
Hall reportedly left a note indicating that he may attempt suicide, and a journal was also found with plans to run away from home. The Surveillance footage was released on the disappearance of Jed Hall, which shows he broke into a school to put $1,000 into a girl’s locker.
A year ago, a $10,000 reward was offered for information about the teen. Some even made a guess that he could be in Stockton, California.
Jed Hall Missing Case Update- Found Him In Under 20 Minutes
Jed Hall was reportedly found, and the human remains in his vehicle were identified as him.
The vehicle Jed left home in was recovered on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from the Snake River in Idaho Falls. It was found by a specialty underwater sonar search and recovery dive team, Adventures with Purpose, in cooperation with the Idaho Falls Police Department.
After the vehicle was traced, the human remains were also recovered from the vehicle.
And after three days of medical checking, those remains were found to be of Jed Hall on May 4, 2022.

Jed Hall’s parents Allen and Amy Hall, did their best to search for their child, who left home with no return in the future.
As per the sources, he left a note indicating he would never return to his family.
During an interview with his wife, Amy, at the Idaho Falls Police Department four years ago on Friday, his father, Allen Hall, told the public that there were no updates. His parents also stated the possibility that he hasn’t interacted with police or law enforcement.
It could also be that he has been lying low enough that we’re not hearing from him.
