Australian racing driver Jamie Whincup and his partner Samantha Pollock are expecting their first child.
Jamie Whincup, who has won the seven Supercars championship titles, is the first driver to win the Jason Richards Memorial Trophy two times.
Whincup started his junior racing career with his father and uncle’s team in 2001. He finished in third place at the Australian Formula Ford Championship in his debut year.
He finally made his Supercars debut in 2002. He competed at the 2002 Queensland 500 with Max Dumesny and drove a Holden VX Commodore.
He completed his first full-time V8 Supercars season in 2003 with Garry Rogers Motorsport. Currently, the 38-year-old driver drives the No. 88 Holden ZB Commodore for Triple Eight Race Engineering.
