As for the victim, Cassidy Rainwater is only 33 years old. She was reported missing on August 25 after not being seen or heard from for six weeks, and police charged James Phelps, 58, and Timothy Norton, 56, with kidnapping her.
It had been less than 24 hours after Phelps’ home had been destroyed by fire. Local officials are in communication with OzarksFirst on a daily basis, but they are not disclosing much information.
Cassidy Rainwater’s condition has not been confirmed by the police.

Furthermore, the prosecutors say they uncovered seven images on Mr. Phelps’ phone of Ms. Rainwater being held half-naked in a cage on his home, according to court filings seen by Kansas City TV channel WDAF.

According to court records obtained by local media, two men, one of them being James Phelps and the other one being Timothy Norton in Missouri are accused of keeping a missing lady trapped in a cage in a state of partial nudity.
James Phelps said how Cassidy Rainwater allegedly stayed with Mr. Phelps at his home in rural Missouri near the city of Lebanon until she was able to get back on her feet before abruptly leaving in the middle of the night, according to Phelps.
But the evidence proved otherwise after an anonymous tipster reported the pictures that were clicked by Phelp’s phone.
“Additional details cannot be shared at this time due to the serious nature of the crime and the ongoing investigation,” the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said. The public is not in immediate danger.”
Despite the kidnappers being found, there is still no information on how Cassidy Rainwater is doing, or whether or not she is alive.
