Jamal Crawford Net Worth $35 Million

Jamal Crawford spent his childhood in his hometown of Seattle, raised by a single mother as his father had left. He started playing basketball when he was only three years old, and later continued for the school team – the Rainier Beach Vikings – while attending Rainer Beach High School. He excelled there, as he led the team to win the WIAA State Championship in 1988, and thanks to that he was named to the Parade All American Team. Furthermore, he received a scholarship to the University of Michigan, where he continued to play college basketball.

Right after graduation, Jamal’s professional basketball career began in 2000, when he entered the 2000 NBA Draft, in which he was selected as the 8th pick overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers; however, he was traded the same day to the Chicago Bulls, but his net worth was established. Jamal stayed with the Bulls until 2004, when he was traded to the New York Knicks. In his first season with the Bulls, he couldn’t validate his high draft position, as he averaged only 4.6 points, and 2.3 assists per game; however, season by season, his numbers started to improve, and in 2003-2004 season he averaged 17.3 points, and 5.1 assists per game.

After the season ended he was traded to the Knicks with Jerome Williams, for players Frank Williams, Cezary Trybanski, Dikembe Mutombo and Othella Harrington. He played for the Knicks for four years, which only increased his net worth, and his games performance also improved further, as he averaged around 20 points and five assists per game in his four seasons. Subsequently, he was then traded to the Golden State Warriors for Al Harrington, but played for the Warriors only one season, after which he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks. With the Hawks, Jamal won his first Sixth Man of the Year award in 2009-2010 season, then after his contract expired in 2011, he signed with the Portland Trailblazers, for which he also played one season.

In 2012, he signed with the Los Angeles Clippers, for which he still plays and which has increased his net worth by a large degree, as he signed a contract worth $21 million over four years. During his stint with the Clippers, Jamal has won second and third Sixth Man of the Year award in 2014, and 2016.
