Former Spurs Psychologist Hillary Cauthen’s Case Against Josh Primo
According to The New York Post, Cauthen has launched a lawsuit against the squad and its former guard, Josh Primo, who will also face numerous charges of indecent exposure in a criminal complaint.
She spoke at a news conference in Houston on Thursday, alleging Primo exposed himself to her on many occasions.
According to Cauthen, attorney Tony Buzbee disclosed the action filed in Bexar County, Texas, and the impending complaint six days after the Spurs terminated Primo and around ten months after the initial incident.
Cauthen stated that Primo first revealed his genitalia to her in late December 2021. Buzbee stated that she told Spurs general manager, Brian Wright of the incident, in January 2022.
Primo’s lawyer, William J. Briggs II, told The Athletic that the charges were “either pure fiction, a great exaggeration, or sheer fantasy.”
According to Briggs, Primo never “intentionally revealed himself to her or anybody else” and was unaware that his private parts were visible outside of his training shorts.”
On the other hand, Cauthen claims that instead of punishing Primo – a lottery choice in 2021—she felt penalized since the team urged her on many occasions to work from home or stay away from the facilities.
