The three teens found dead inside a Crosby-area home Tuesday afternoon has been identified as 15-year-old Hayden Burns, 17-year-old Hayley Burns and 17-year-old Kadience Cadena.
Who Is Crosby Area Shooter Hayden Burns?
Hayden Burns turned out to be the shooter in the Crosby area shooting and killing himself after killing his older sister and friend. No reason has been provided for the shooting.
According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the teens were discovered by a next-door neighbour while the homeowner was out of town.
A neighbour David Givans said that it’s shocking to see something like this happen to one of them.
He added that It’s a close community for the most part, and they all watch out for each other.
Despite them not being currently enrolled in the district, Crosby ISD officials released a statement after the teens were identified.
The statement said that hearts continue to go out to the families impacted by the tragedy in the Crosby community this week.
Shooting Update On Haley Burns And Kadience Cadena Shooting Victims.
Haley Burns and Kandience Cadena were the first victims of the shooting carried out by Haley’s brother Haydens Burns.
On Tuesday afternoon, police authorities were called to the property near the 4500 block of Wolcek Road in Crosby when a family member who lived next door found the bodies.
The bodies of Haley was found in the hallway, while Kadience and Hayden were in separate bedrooms.
On Tuesday, Ed Gonzalez, a Harris County sheriff, said at a press conference that it seems Burns killed himself after killing his sister Haley and her friend.
Although the teenagers were not current students, the community members prayed for the lost lives.
District counsellors have been made available at all campuses this week to speak with students and staff needing extra support.

A preliminary investigation found Hayden likely shot his sister and Kadience before killing himself.
Gonzalez added that the owner of the house where the teenagers were found was out of town.
He said that the gun that appears to have been involved was found at the scene.
A family member discovered three dead bodies inside the residence.
The Crosby Independent School District (ISD) released a statement confirming that the teenagers were not enrolled.
It is unclear if they had been visiting the area.
