While there are regular gamers who love competitive games, there are those who play and stream games on different platforms including YouTube and Twitch. A person in the second category is GreekGodx who has become one of the most watched players on Twitch. Although he also uploads his content to YouTube, he does not have many followers on the platform. In addition to knowing his real name, find answers to other questions you may have about him below.
Age, real name and life story
While popular as GreekGodx, the player’s real name is Dimitri Raymondo Antonatos. He was born in England on October 6, 1992. His life is overshadowed by his playing persona and therefore not much is known about his family, how he was brought up or even his upbringing.
In his videos, he only mentioned his mother, omitting anything about his father and siblings, so it’s unclear if he has a sibling.
There was a time when GreekGodx would stay in his room for months without talking to anyone. All he would do was hang out there playing games and then come downstairs to look for food. Back then, he was playing League of Legends for up to 10 hours a day, listening to the radio, and then crying from the loneliness.
Later, he discovered Twitch and then he started playing games and connecting with people there. The first time he did something funny, he thought people liked it and it made him happy. That’s how he started taking Twitch seriously, even though he didn’t want to stream.
He started Twitch in September 2010. By early 2019, he had already built his Twitch following to nearly 700,000 followers. His main content on the platform revolves around gaming, but he also does other things like reacting to other streamers’ videos and other In Real Life (IRL) content which is now becoming very popular on the platform.
In 2011, he started his YouTube channel where he posts various content, from games to short comedies and other types of content.
Although he was considered by some to be a leech – a streamer who depends on streaming with others to stay relevant, he was still able to get his Twitch and YouTube account in a great place. One of the main things that has contributed to its success is its streaming style which is always fun.
Apart from Twitch and YouTube, Dimitri has also enjoyed a good following on other social media platforms. Although he is not used to Instagram where he only has a few publications, he still has more than 25,000 followers. He has broader shoulders on Twitter where he has over 169,000 followers.
Who is GreekGodx’s girlfriend?
GreekGodx hasn’t dated many women in the past. In fact, the only woman he’s dated is Kitty, but it’s unclear when they met.
Kitty has appeared in a number of his videos, although the streamer has always tried to keep his girlfriend’s face out of his videos because he wanted to keep it private.
In April 2018, GreekGodx announced on Twitter that he and Kitty had broken up. Although he said he still loved her, the main reason for their breakup was the long distance between them. More so, he said in another video that she deserves someone better than him.
Height and width
Looking at him, one can easily assume that The Greek is a giant of a man, especially when he’s sitting down. However, although he has quite a tall stature, he is not the tallest in the world. He has a height that measures 5 feet 8 inches and a body weight of 349 pounds. After weighing himself during a live stream on Twitch in 2018 and registering 369 pounds, various streamers and fans advised him on how he should lose weight.
Over the next six months, he dropped his weight to 342. According to him, he was able to reduce his weight thanks to the keto diet and the encouragement of others. It was the first time in his life that he was able to lose weight because he always added it. For this reason, he cried upon seeing the measurements.
