Gaige Grosskreutz, a resident of West Allis, Wisconsin, was arrested on the grounds of a DUI. What happened? The most up-to-date information about the case can be found below.
On August 25, 2020, Gaige Grosskreutz of West Allis, Wisconsin, was one of the men shot by Kyle Rittenhouse. That day, they were both at a Black Lives Matter protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Rittenhouse was one of the armed people who intended to safeguard businesses from destruction during the event. Grosskreutz was one of the demonstrators demanding justice for Jacob Blake, who was shot at least eight times in the back by Kenosha Police Department officer Rusten Sheskey on August 23, 2020.
Grosskreutz had volunteered as a medic earlier that night, armed with a PARAMEDIC cap, a medical bag, and a handgun. He was a member of the People’s Revolution Movement, a Milwaukee-based social justice organization, and he was present at the protest with the group.
Last week, though, he was the prosecution’s star witness. He was the only one that escaped Rittenhouse’s gunshots that night.
He stated why he was armed on August 25, 2020, when he appeared in court on November 8, 2021.
But, but, but he was just a”peaceful protestor” holding a cell phone…?? pic.twitter.com/EEp45iDOqj

Gaige Grosskreutz Arrested On The Grounds of DUI – What Happened?
Grosskreutz was arrested on prowling charges by West Allis Police on August 16, 2020, nine days before the Rittenhouse shooting. At 1 a.m., he was discovered videotaping a personal police vehicle in the police headquarters parking lot.
In like manner, Grosskreutz would have been questioned under oath regarding his bail and the severity of his conduct if his DUI charges hadn’t been dropped before the Rittenhouse trial. Despite being evidentially shot by Rittenhouse, the accusation might have harmed his credibility as the main witness against him.
It would be interesting to watch if Grosskreutz’s evidence influences the Kyle Rittenhouse trial judgment, as many people feel Rittenhouse was not guilty of killing the intruders who ‘threatened’ his life.
Learn About Gaige Grosskreutz Charges
Just six days before Gaige Grosskreutz’s testimony in the Rittenhouse trial, one of his outstanding DUI charges was dropped on a technicality. His records also indicated that he had previously displayed scorn for the police and refused to cooperate with them on several occasions.
Likewise, a study into his past has revealed extensive evidence of a criminal history spanning more than a decade, in a surprising turn of events. Domestic violence, trespassing, several DUIs, prowling, felony burglary, and two accusations of carrying weapons while intoxicated are among his many crimes.
