Who is Ferne McCann Baby Father – Arthur Collins?
Not much is known about ArthurCollins’ life before he started dating Ferne McCann in 2016. That said, we can divide his identity into two phases. The first phase predates his relationship with Ferne McCann. During this phase, he was simply known as a businessman and scaffolder. The media has no information on his exact date of birth. However, he is believed to be around 25 at the time of this writing.
Arthur Collins is from Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. Just like his date of birth, nothing is known of his educational background. Growing up, he was raised by his parents, Arthur Collins Snr (father) and Jackie Collins (mother) in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, England.
The second phase revolves around him being the love interest of former Miss Essex 2012, Ferne McCann. By the time Arthur and Ferne became an item, the latter had just completed a bold move from reality television to television presenting. Among other things, Ferne was admired for his role as a showbiz reporter on ITV’s daily program This Morning. In 2017, McCann revealed in an OK! exclusive edition of the magazine that she had found the man of her dreams in Arthur Collins. According to her, their paths first crossed in 2016 when she followed him on Instagram and after some time they decided to start dating.
Unfortunately, their relationship came to an abrupt end in 2017 when he was arrested by the police for participating in an acid attack at a London nightclub. Two days after her arrest, she announced her pregnancy and has since given birth to a daughter she named on Sunday.
What did he do?
Arthur Collins’ loss began on April 17, 2017, at a nightclub in London. CCTV footage from the day shows Arthur Collins punching a mystery man in the face before throwing a bottle filled with PH1 acid at the cheering crowd and then immediately fleeing the scene of the crime. The incident left sixteen people chemically burned and three others temporarily blind. The next day, the police declared him officially wanted. Hearing this he went into hiding but was eventually arrested at a house in Northamptonshire by 30 brave police officers.
On November 13, 2017, Collins was found guilty of five counts of grievous bodily harm and nine counts of actual bodily harm committed by Judge Noel Lucas at Wood Green Crown Court in London, England. He pleaded innocent, saying he was completely unaware of the contents of the bottle as he intercepted it by a group of guys he heard plotting to use the date rape drug on a certain girl that night.
Revisiting his criminal record showed he once threatened his ex-girlfriend with acid after she broke it up. This was proof enough that the judge should convict him. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison and 5 years in prison.
Where is he now?
Arthur Collins is serving his sentence in prison. However, the name of the prison where he is locked up is not known to the media. In January 2018, a further eight months were added to his sentence when he was found guilty of smuggling a phone to his prison cell, which he had used to contact Ferne McCann. Later that year he accepted for the first time that he was fully aware of the contents of the bottle.
Shortly after, he appealed for a reduced sentence, but it was denied by the judge. It was further revealed that he would have to serve at least two-thirds of his prison term before being considered for parole.
