Morris County Deputy Medical Examiner Dr. Carlos Fonseca ruled that Liam’s death was a homicide. Police began searching for Urbina, who had already fled before they arrived.
According to the East Hanover Police Department, Urbina arrived at the Morris County Administration Building and turned himself in. He remains behind bars for murder, endangering the welfare of a child, and charges of tampering with witnesses and evidence.

On Monday, the police issued an arrest warrant for Urbina. He was detained “without incident,” the prosecutor’s office said. Both Urbina and Straw are being held at the Morris County Correctional Center pending their first court appearances.
