Dylan Rounds, 19, moved away from his parents in Idaho and independently purchased a farm in Utah. Then he disappeared.
He has been missing for almost a month, and a police investigation is still ongoing. Rounds’ parents are very much worried about their young son and praying for his better health.
Missing Case Update: Dylan Rounds From Utah
Police discovered Dylan Rounds’ boots and an abandoned grain truck five miles from his campground in Lucin. Dylan Rounds, a 19-year-old who went out on his own as a farmer in rural Utah, has been gone for almost a month.
Rounds’ mother believes there was foul play involved in his disappearance, and detectives haven’t ruled it out. In the meantime, there aren’t many leads, and a thorough search of the region has turned up nothing.
Police also claim that no clues were found after speaking with various people who had connections to the teen. Law enforcement spent weeks scouring the region using horses, drones, K-9s, and other animals.
According to Rounds’ family, he did not use drugs, spend time on computer games or social media, and was nearly fully focused on his farm. Palmer said it was “surprising and unusual” how little those people, who are few and far between in the rural area west of the Great Salt Lake, had provided to investigators.
Is a Suspect From Dylan Rounds’ Missing Case Arrested?
Federal prosecutors have brought charges in the puzzling case involving Dylan Rounds, a missing 19-year-old. Rounds’ family last spoke to the 19-year-old over the phone on May 28 before he mysteriously disappeared the next day.
According to a court document obtained by The Sun, James Brenner, a 59-year-old neighbor of Rounds, is accused of having a firearm as a felon on one count.
Brenner isn’t mentioned in the lawsuit submitted on Wednesday to the US District Court in Salt Lake City as a person of interest or potential suspect in Rounds’ disappearance.
An FBI affidavit in the complaint has disclosed new information about Rounds’ disappearance. Rounds informed his family over the phone that he was “putting the grain truck in a shelter” while living on a farm close to Lucin, Utah, when his family reported him missing on May 30.
According to the lawsuit, Brenner was squatting in a trailer on the property where the grain truck’s shelter was located, and the two had previously interacted. On June 16, the FBI searched at Brenner’s trailer, where they discovered muzzleloader-related ammo, ignition caps, and black powder.
