Dr. Sahebgowda Shetty is a Cosmetic surgeon in Rajajinagar where a 22-year-old actress died on Monday after undergoing fat-free cosmetic surgery.
Chetana Raj, a Chikkabanawara inhabitant who appeared in television serials such as Geetha and Doresani, has been identified as the deceased.
The complainant Varadaraju, who is a businessman, alleged that his daughter Chetana had come to the clinic on Friday morning and the doctors insisted she undergoes surgery to remove the fat on her waist. Due to problems, she died in the evening, and the physicians did not transfer her to another hospital for further treatment.

Dr. Sahebgowda Shetty is considered one of Bangalore’s greatest plastic and cosmetic surgeons, having performed several procedures throughout the years. With an MBBS from the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, he went on to pursue Post-graduate (MS) training at Mysore Medical College.
Later, he acquired endoscopic training and served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery before enrolling in a Plastic Surgery program (MCh) in Mumbai. Dr.Shetty is currently employed at Dr.Cosmetic Shetty’s Centre as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon.
A patient Chethana Raj reportedly went with her friends to Dr. Shetty’s Cosmetic Clinic in Rajajinagar for cosmetic surgery, without telling her parents.
Before she was transported into surgery, her buddy allegedly signed the consent form. Soon after the procedure, her lungs appeared to fill with fluid. Within hours, she died of heart arrest.

Chetana Raj, a Kannada actress, died on Monday as a result of post-operative complications after undergoing “fat removal” surgery at a private hospital in Bengaluru. Her parents have since claimed that her death was caused by medical malpractice.

Chethana had apparently experienced a heart arrest, according to doctors at the Kaade Hospital. Doctors assessed her when she arrived at the hospital and discovered she was unresponsive and had no pulse.
They started CPR right away, and after 45 minutes of attempting to resuscitate her, the physicians declared her dead.

He was charged with murder, according to the police department’s FIR report, and another complaint was made at the Basaveshwar Nagar Police Station.
Furthermore, they claim that an anesthetist named Melvin barged into their hospital with a patient Raj at about 5.30 p.m. on May 16, flouting all hospital protocols and endangering their security.
He told the police that the clinic did not get consent from the parents before the surgery, and her death was due to negligence, according to his complaint, which demanded legal action against the facility’s owner, Dr. Sahebgowda Shetty.
The body has yet to be delivered to the family because the postmortem will take place on Wednesday.
