Labor leader Anthony Albanese has announced Labor’s candidate for the federal seat of Bowman is Donisha Duff.
The Queensland Liberal National Party has blocked Andrew Laming from recontesting the seat after allegations of internet trolling and harassment back in March and decided to give the seat to Donisha.
Mr. Laming is on medical leave while he undergoes empathy training after he took a photograph of a woman with her underwear exposed in a Brisbane shop.
Duff claimed that the community was ignored under Mr. Laming’s leadership and Labor Party wanted to win a protest vote.
