Donald Craighead: Why Is The Oceanside CA Man Arrested In DC?
Donald Craighead was detained by Capitol Police on the possessions of a machete, a bayonet, and other prohibited weapons.
Officers noticed a pickup truck with “a swastika and other white nationalist markings,” according to the report.
Craighead spoke about “white supremacist philosophy and another verbiage relevant to white supremacy” when police approached, according to authorities.
Instead of a license plate, the truck’s license plate had an image of an American flag.
All these reasons raised suspicion about Donald, and police were forced to arrest him.
The charges against him were only about the possession of weapons and a truck with no license plate.
But looking at his history of criminal records, it is believed that he might be in serious custody.
The event is still under investigation, and police haven’t revealed why Craighead was in Washington, D.C., or if he was plotting any sort of riot.
