Dmitry Kolker is one of Russia’s leading scientists who reportedly breathed his last less than two days after being pulled out of his cancer bed and jailed for charges of high treason.
He was head of Novosibirsk State University’s quantum optical technologies laboratory. In the concrete, the professor was considered a world expert on lasers.
Dr. Kolker previously collaborated reportedly with the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxford, and various other institutes in many countries around the globe.
The Russian scientist was flown across Russia from Novosibirsk. He taught maths and quantum physics reportedly to Moscow’s notorious Lefortovo Prison on Friday.
After 48 hours, the scientist passed away after being dragged out of a cancer bed and jailed on charges of high treason, the Russian scientist’s family officially announced today.
The Quantum physics professor was suffering from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. On top of that, Kolker was too ill for chemotherapy and was reportedly cared for by his mother.
His family accused the Federal Security Service of torture and abuse of the Russian professor’s human rights by dragging him out of his death bed; fighting for his life at stage four of pancreatic cancer.
To the accusations, FSB, the counterintelligence agency claimed to have medical authorization to unplug Kolker from the hospital and send him behind the bars as a part of a major spy probe.
‘The entire family is going through hell’, Kolker’s children; daughter Alina Mironova, 29, and son Maxim, 22, talked about their father’s death. ‘Our father cannot pass away surrounded by his family members.’

Russian Scientist Dmitry Kolker died in prison within 48 hours after being dragged out of his cancer bed and locked up. His family is presently going through a difficult time stated his daughter Alina.

Presently, Anatoly Maslov, a pioneer of hypersonic technologies is reported to be in Lefortovo jail in Moscow. Kolker was also held there prior to being rushed to a hospital where he breathed his last.
