Dayne Beams was born on 12 February 1990, in Yarrawonga, Australia. His family later relocated to the Gold Coast when he was four years. Two years later, he began playing for the Mudgeeraba Saints, then later to the Southport Australian Football Club.
It was in this club that he debuted for the senior team at only 17years in 2007.
Beams is also known as Beamsy or Beama. He used to be a professional Australian rules footballer who played for Australian Football League’s Collingwood Football Club.
Beams plays as a midfielder. He was also captain of the Brisbane Lions during the 2017 football season. He stepped down from his captain position because of personal reasons the next year.
In October 2020, he retired from playing professional football. In August this year, Beams was announced as a contestant on the celebrity version of Big Brother Australia.
Beams is married to Kelly. Kelly is a beauty and fashion influencer. She has worked with brands like Cotton On, Vanish and the Cancer Council. The pair has a son named Carter.
