Darius Campbell Father Booth Danesh Is An Iranian

Dr. Booth Danesh, the father of Darius Campbell Danesh and a cancer survivor, retired from Stobhill Hospital ten years ago.

According to The Herald Scotland, his General Medical Council documents show that he is no longer authorized to practice medicine.

His mother, a general practitioner, worked as an oncologist at Glasgow’s Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, based on the outlet.

She does work as a specialty doctor at the Beatson, although she is only formally registered with the General Medical Council as a G.P.

Moreover, it is believed that Dr. Danesh and his son, Dr. Aria Campbell, have a business providing medical services at his Bearsden residence.

Darius Danesh Parents Battle With Cancer: Where Are They Now?

The Glasgow-born performer was devastated when he learned about his parent’s cancer diagnosis. The news came when his father, Booth Danesh, was diagnosed with terminal cancer; later, his mother was also told she had a disease.

Back in 2013, Dr. Danesh only had three months to live. His Scottish doctor’s mother, Avril Campbell Danesh, also suffered a breast cancer diagnosis in 2015.

However, both went on to experience remarkable recoveries; Dr. Booth’s stage 4 cancer, which had spread to his bone marrow, was cured by chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

He had been fatigued for 18 months before his diagnosis, but his symptoms were misdiagnosed as arthritis. Moreover, a scan didn’t uncover a pelvic tumor the size of a vast orange until after he passed out one day at home. By then, it was fatal and had reached his bone marrow.

The tumor was reduced to the size of a walnut by chemotherapy, but by July 2004, his body had been so severely damaged that his heart had stopped beating before reviving. By Christmas, he was cancer-free.

Ten years later, Avril discovered a lump in her breast and underwent surgery in addition to a strenuous course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Family Of Five With Two Siblings Mourns His Death

The Danesh family is currently mourning the death of their beloved son and brother. He was the eldest of the three sons born to his parents, Booth and Avril.

In essence, he was 15 years older than his youngest brother, Cyprus, and three years older than his brother Aria.

In fact, his sibling, Dr. Aria Campbell-Danesh, DClinPsy, CPsychol, is a clinical psychologist with a doctorate in psychology specializing in behavior change and long-term health.

Besides, he is a mindfulness expert and the developer of the F.I.T. Method who consults with customers on their diet, exercise, and mentality on a global scale.

Further, he is a co-author of the bestselling book A Mindful Year (Blackstone Publishing), and he frequently appears in well-known lifestyle magazines, including Men’s Health, Women’s Health, and Marie Claire.
