Why Was Daniel Gondringer In Jail?
On September 21st, 1990, Daniel Gondringer started his sentence.
In 1989, Daniel (then 18 years old) permitted Kimberly Martin, then 13 years old, to stay at his place so her parents would not find out she had been suspended from school.
He stabbed Kimberly in the stomach, saying the injury occurred while the two were playing fencing.
He put Kimberly Martin in the trunk of his car and drove her to the country after she passed out. When Daniel discovered her awake in the trunk, he took her to a field and slit her throat.
He whacked her again in the head with a pickax.

He was given a 10-year to life term for the murder, a 50-year sentence for attempted kidnapping, and a 20-year sentence for using a weapon to commit a felony.
