Curtis Stone Net Worth $8 Million

Curtis Stone is the son of accountant Bryan Stone. He apparently began cooking together with his grandmother Maude when he was only four years old. Upon matriculation from Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School, he became a student of Business at Victoria University in Melbourne; however, he decided to leave it and began pursuing a career as a chef.

After he dropped out of college, Curtis found a job at the 5-star restaurant of the Savoy Hotel in Melbourne. This significantly increased his net worth, but also enabled him to gain the knowledge and experience needed to develop his career. After a few months working at the Savoy, Curtis decided to take a trip across the Europe to study the varied European cuisine. He settled down in London, firstly as a volunteer for the famous chef Marco Pierre White in his restaurants Mirabelle, and Café Royal, but he was soon hired, thanks to his skills. In fact he soon became the chef of the restaurant Quo Vadis, owned by Marco Pierre White, which further increased the overall size of his net worth.

Little by little, Curtis’ career improved, and in 2014, he opened his first restaurant, Maude, in Beverly Hills, California.

Since then he had numerous notable appearances, including in such shows as “The Biggest Loser” (2009-2011), “Top Chef Masters” (2011-2013), “Kitchen Inferno” (2014), “The Chew” (2012-2015), “Beach Eats USA With Curtis Stone” (2015), and many others, which have also contributed a lot to his net worth.

Also, Curtis has authored several cookbooks, including “Surfing The Menu: Two Chefs”, “Cooking With Curtis: Easy, Everyday And Adventurous Recipes For The Home Cook”, “One Journey: A Fresh Food Adventure”, “What’s For Dinner?” and “Good Food Good Life”, among others, the sales of which have added a substantial amount to his net worth.

Quote
1 Ever since I was young I’ve always been fascinated with food – whether it was making marmalade with my Nan and Grandad or fudge with my Granny. I’ve always realized it was food that brought my family and friends closer together. I often hear people say that they don’t have the time to cook. Well, actually, a good home cooked meal can take less time than waiting for a take-in pizza! And be a lot more fun. It’s one of life’s great pleasures.
