Convicted murderer Craig Minogue and actress Kylie Minogue don’t seem related. The only thing that ties them is their Australian nationality.
There isn’t any documented evidence to show any relationship between the two. Nevertheless, people are curious about it since they have the same surname. They might be distant cousins, but who knows.
Besides, Kylie’s parents are Ronald Charles Minogue and Carol Minogue. She has two siblings, Brendan Minogue and Dannii Minogue.
As for Craig, there are little to no details available regarding his family. So, it is hard to determine if they are related or not.

Craig Minogue Wikipedia & Charges Explained
Craig Minogue has a dedicated Wikipedia page.
He was born on 19 December 1962. His birth location and the identity of his parents remain unknown. Likewise, he hasn’t revealed much about his other family members.
On 27 March 1986, at about 1 p.m., the Russel Street Bombing happened, which killed 21-year-old Constable Angela Taylor and injured 22 people. Further, it did enormous damage to the Police Headquarters and surrounding constructions worth over $500 thousand. Craig was behind the blast.
After that, a judge sentenced him to life imprisonment with a non-parole period of 30 years. While in the maximum-security industry yard, on 22 July 1988, he killed 40-year-old Alex Tskamakis with a pillowcase full of 5 kg gym weights.
Craig obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Deakin University in 2005. The same year, La Trobe University accepted him as a Ph. D. student. On 8 February 2012, the educational institution awarded him a research Ph.D. in Applied Ethics and Human & Social Sciences.

He reportedly applied for parole in 2016. However, the Victoria law didn’t allow freedom. The High Court, in 2018 and 2019, also denied him the discharge under the legislation.
The other charges include 38 offenses, including abduction by force on 22 November 1985 and aggravated rape on 26 March 198. Peter Komiazyk, a participant in the Russell St. bombing, also faced similar indictments. Both of them plead not guilty to the charges.
Similarly, police alleged Stanely Taylor, the instigator of the bombing, participated in the March 1986 rape. In 2016, he passed away while imprisoned.
