Christian Ginutti was born on the 21st May 1958 in Avignon, France and died on the 9th July 2015 in Los Angeles, USA and was a fashion designer and entrepreneur best known for the labels Von Dutch, Christian Audigier, Lord Baltimore and Ed Hardy. Christian has been working in the fashion industry from 1963 until his death.

To begin with, he grew up in a poor family in southern France. Raised by his mother, he left school at 14 to work. He was passionate about James Dean and the American dream. According to the newspaper Libération, he buttered authorities with the thousands of dollars.

In 2000, he settled in Los Angeles and began a new life with just $500 in his pocket.
