The brutal murder of a four-year-old baby had shaken the Dallas neighborhood a few days ago.
The child’s name was Cash Gernon. He was reportedly killed by multiple stab wounds.
His body was found in the middle of the street. A local resident named Antwainese Square discovered his body while out on a morning run and immediately informed the police.
Furthermore, the video footage showed that Cash was sleeping in his crib when a man entered the house and whisked him away. The baby monitor in the room recorded the entire video.
Police claim that the man in the video is an 18-year-old boy Darriynn Brown.

Cash Gernon Father And Mother
Cash Gernor and his twin brother Carter were reportedly living with his father’s girlfriend in Florida Parkway.
His biological father, however, was missing since March and left the children in the care of his girlfriend, Monica Sherrod.
As of now, no details have surfaced about Cash’s father in the media.
Likewise, the boy’s biological mother Melinda Seagroves and grandmother Connie Ward had been looking for her sons.
Cash’s mother said that she thought they were living with his father. She was unaware that the boys were staying with Ms. Sherrod.
Further, Ms. Sherrod claimed that she could not contact Cash’s father since his departure and is unaware of his current whereabouts.
On the other hand, Cash’s twin brother Carter has been reunited with his biological mother.

In the video, Cash is sleeping soundly in his crib. Then, a man identified as Darriynn Brown enters the room, looks around, and takes the child away.
The entire incident was recorded on the baby monitor.
Further, Kameron Moori lived with Cash and his twin brother and knew the accused, Mr. Brown. Moori stated that he went to middle school and high school with Brown but they were not friends.
He added that the incident was sudden and it does not seem to be an act of vengeance or hate.
Is Darriynn Brown Arrested?
Darriynn Brown was arrested on May 15 by Dallas police.
He was charged with kidnapping and theft and is held on $1.5 million bonds.
However, his mother maintains that Brown can never hurt a child and he is being framed. But, she also said that Brown had some mental health issues.
