Bruno Caboclo has been playing basketball since he was 13 years old. The Brazilian professional b-baller started out at Gremio Recreativo Barueri. Before joining the NBA, he played for the Brazilian Esporte Clube Pinheiros, between 2013 and 2014.
Beyond his career and biography, here is detailed information about his family dimensions, height and body.
Who is Bruno Caboclo?
He was born on September 21, 1995. While born in Osasco, he was raised in Barueri and Pirapora do Bom Jesus, both located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Not much is known about Bruno’s upbringing and early life.
However, it is common knowledge that he started his professional career in 2013 when he signed a contract with Pinheiros de Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). It gave him the opportunity he wanted to improve his skills and become more competitive. With the Pinheiros, he played 17 games between 2013 and 2014 and averaged 3.1 rebounds and 4.8 points.
It was in June 2014 that Bruno Caboclo began his NBA journey. This is after being chosen by the Toronto Raptors as the twentieth draft pick of the year. The following month, he was able to sign a contract allowing him to join the team for the NBA Summer League of the Year. A few months later, he made his NBA debut in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Although he was quite impressive in the little after playing in the game, Caboclo was assigned to the NBA Development League to play Fort Wayne Mad Ants. He would be called back, reassigned, and called back again by the raptors. The team refused to let him go until February 2018, when he was traded to the Sacramento Kings for Malachi Richardson.
The Kings wasted no time in awarding the Brazilian to his NBA G League Reno Bighorns. However, he was called back after 48 hours. But as fate would have it, his stay with the camp was short. In August 2018, Bruno Caboclo joined the Houston Rockets after signing a training camp contract. Sadly, in October, he only gave up on himself to end up with G League side Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
The biggest achievement of his professional career so far is the NBA D-League Championship which he won in 2017.
His height, weight and measurements
As in all other sports, this game of handball requires its players to possess and maintain certain body characteristics which are generally considered to be one of the factors that determine a player’s performance. While basketball players shouldn’t be tall, they should have a body weight commensurate with their height.
When it comes to fitness, it’s hard to find fault with Bruno Caboclo. Although he is 9 inches taller than 2.0m (6ft) and weighs 98kg (218lbs), his flexibility hasn’t been as meager as expected. Beyond that, his wingspan of 2.31m is one of the features that sets the Brazilian apart from other basketball players. Bruno’s 34-inch standing jump also complements his 9-foot-3 standing reach.
Caboclo’s family
The full name of the basketball player is Bruno CorreaFernandes Caboclo. His maternal name is said to be Fernandes and Caboclo, his paternal name. Overall, it was difficult to get details about his family life. Very little is known about him in this regard. It is said that he comes from a poor family, his father was a security guard and a truck driver while his mother supported the family employed as a maid.
Bruno once revealed that his family was so poor they couldn’t even afford a cable to watch NBA games. We don’t know anything about his brothers and sisters, we don’t even know if he has any. He is one of the few players with little information about his family.
Predictably, Bruno Caboclo’s fans and admirers are very interested in knowing what’s happening with his love life. This did not prompt the basketball player to divulge anything about his relationship status. Like his family, nothing is known about his love life, it is as if he is focused on achieving new heights in his career.
