The Ultimate Surfer contestant Bruna Zaun started surfing at the young age of nine and won her first major event as a 15-year-old. At age 31, she has a professional career of nearly two decades.
Bruna Zaun, originally called Schmitz, is a professional surfer and a fashion model.
She has competed on the Association of Surfing Professional Women’s World Tour.
Born and raised in a small fishing community in Matinhos, Brazil, Bruna Zaun started surfing at the age of nine, influenced by her brother.
She was the youngest Brazilian to win a professional surfing event at 15.
By the age of 12, her incredible potential was spotted. She took her first trip to Hawaii at age 13. In 2010 and 2011, Bruna got qualified to compete in the WSL Championship Tour (CT)
