Brianna Decker Recent Injury Update And Health
Brianna Decker suffers a severe leg injury during a game against Finland on Thursday. Due to her health condition, she will probably not be able to continue her 2022 olympian journey.
She was tripled from behind by Savolainen to the left of the US net. Savolainen’s left leg became entangled in Decker’s left leg, and the two fell awkwardly to the ice, with the Finland player landing on top of Decker.

Decker yelped out in pain several times while lying on the ice.
She yelled once more as she was being treated by a team doctor. “It was revolting. Amanda Kessel, a teammate, described her as “one of the toughest players I’ve ever played with.”
“She wouldn’t be down on the ice crying if it wasn’t bad.”
Later, she was seen watching on crutches, her lower left leg wrapped in a bandaid.
We hope she will recover soon and be able to join her team in the following matches.
