On Valentines day 2019, Miranda took to social media to share the most surprising news with her fans ; on her post she captioned;

“In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched!” Lambert — who shared an exclusive image from their wedding with PEOPLE — wrote on Instagram on Saturday, revealing the news of her new relationship for the first time.

“My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for…. me,” she continued alongside two sweet photos from their happy day, adding a red heart emoji and the sweet hashtag “theone.”

In one of the images, she posted she was all smiles while leaning up against McLoughlin, while in the second image, he holds her hips in the middle of an open field.

According to sources close to them, the couple had been married for several days before the valentines Day but they had chosen to keep it all a secret.

Previously Miranda was married to fellow country star Blake Shelton before their split which they announced in July 2015 after four years of marriage and another six years together.

After the split, Lambert went on to date singer Anderson East for over two years, as well as Turnpike Troubadours frontman Evan Felker, before the pair called things off in August 2018.

Before joining the NYPD , McLoughlin dabbled a bit in modeling during his late teens. He even got a page on a site called Model Mayhem, which he joined in October 2010 but hasn’t updated it since April 2011.

On his page he wrote; “My name is Brendan McLoughlin. I am 19 years old and live in New York,” his bio reads. “I am on this site to build my portfolio. My style is all american boy/ abercrombie/ sporty but I’m open minded, so feel free to network with me, share your ideas, and organize sessions.”

The photos on his portfolio are a mix of him clothed as well as shirtless. In one of the photos, he wears a thin gold chain necklace and a light blue shirt that brings out his similar-colored eyes. In another one, he has more of a surfer boy feel to it where he’s in swim trunks and flexing his abs.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Country star Miranda Lambert celebrated Valentine’s Day weekend with the announcement that she secretly got married.

A representative for the singer confirmed the marriage after Lambert posted photos on social media Saturday showing her in a white lace gown with her new husband, Brendan Mcloughlin. She wrote that in honor of Valentine’s Day, she wanted to share that she “met the love of my life. And we got hitched!”

It’s unclear when the marriage occurred.

The two-time Grammy winner was previously married to country star Blake Shelton, but she hadn’t spoken publicly about her relationship with Mcloughlin before Saturday. The Texas-born singer who is also a member of the group Pistol Annies has had hits with songs like “The House That Built Me,” ”White Liar,” ”Mama’s Broken Heart,” and “Gunpowder and Lead.”
